Cookie Policy

What we store

Two cookies for signing in, and a few notes in your own browser.

• __Host-wts_session (cookie): keeps you signed in. Ends after 7 days unused, or after 30 days at most. Deleted when you sign out.
• __Host-wts_oauth (cookie): links a Discord sign-in to your browser while it happens. Lasts 10 minutes. Deleted as soon as sign-in finishes.
• wts-cookie-notice (local storage): remembers that you closed the cookie notice. Stays until you clear it.
• wts-archive-search-history (local storage): your recent searches in the archives. Stays until you clear it.
• wts-archive-starred (local storage): messages you starred in the archives. Stays until you clear it.
• wts-staff-sort (local storage): how you sorted Meet the Staff. Stays until you clear it.
• wts-analytics (local storage): set when you switch usage statistics off. Stays until you clear it.
• wts-visitor (local storage): a random id for usage statistics. Replaced after 13 months.
• wts-visit (session storage): a random id for this visit. Gone when you close the tab.

Live updates

While the site is open, it keeps a connection to our server so you see changes as soon as they're saved. It uses no cookie, sends nothing about you, and stores nothing in your browser.

Usage statistics

The site counts anonymous usage statistics under those random ids, kept 90 days, never for admins. Switch them off in Cookie settings; nothing is sent if your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track.

No ads, tracking pixels or third-party cookies. Apart from Discord avatars and banners, the site loads nothing from other companies. Signing in takes you to Discord, where Discord's own cookies apply.

How to clear them

• Signing out deletes the session cookie.
• To clear everything, delete this site's data in your browser settings (usually under Privacy or Site settings). You'll be signed out, the cookie notice will show again, and your archive searches and stars will be gone.
